Inspiration and Motivation can drive a person to achieve heights in their life, reach to a point where they have always dreamt of. ‘Motivation is what gets you started, habit is what keeps you going.’

It was during my class tenth board exams. An idea struck my mind, that if everyone had to give exams and not me.What if it was compulsory for everyone to come to a school at time except me. What if I had an idea about what everyone was up to and What if I was the person heading a lot of people.

The idea of being a leader strikes everyone in their life, and the ability and capability to make people follow you takes a heck lot of things! It was then that I decided that I would want to grow up and become a leader- a leader who would understand the intricacies and what it would take(mentally and physically) to complete a designated job.

Further on as I consulted my mentors I chose upon taking up Commerce as the field of study so that I could understand the propositions of a business with a lot more detail. The step of choosing a right line of study for self is a big decision. It might involve a lot of ifs and buts, but ultimately you need to zero down something that you think you would be able to do rather than running after the bandwagon.

Taking up commerce ultimately proved to be one of the best decisions that I took in terms of studying as I understood the concepts of having own business or probably working for a business enterprise. Then various subjects attached to the commerce field gave me an insight into the ins and outs of the business, thus a complete picture of a business enterprise.

When we talk about ins and outs it is a perspective on the whole which teaches us aspects like communication, leadership, motivation, human resource planning, entrepreneurial skills, compensation plans etc.

Motivation to study a particular field is the drive that you would get from within. A mentor or an elder can only be a source of guidance and inspiration.

As Jim Carrey stated “People need motivation to do anything. I don’t think human beings learn anything without desperation.
