Attempting Exam on OMR Sheet?

The students of classes 10 and 12 who have to attempt their Term-1 Board Exams. 2021-22, are still in a state of some confusion regarding ''How to attempting exam on OMR sheet?".

Attempting Exam on OMR Sheet?

Before Distribution of Question Paper

Filling your particulars:

OMR will be pre-filled with all your particulars. You just have to do the following in the space provided:

  1. Write correct code of Question Paper.
  2. Same code is to be written in your Attendance Sheet.
  3. Write a statement, just below the statement already printed it.
  4. Put your signatures.
  5. Same signatures are to be done on your Attendance Sheet, along with OMR sheet no.

After Getting the Question Paper

Reading Time:

Use the twenty minutes reading time, for:

  1. Checking the total questions in question paper.
  2. Reading the instructions given in question paper regarding the part to be attempted and the choice available.
  3. Having the overall view.
  4. Use most of this time to read long questions like case based and source based questions.

On Actual Starting of Exam.

  1. Read the question thoroughly and darken the selected circle for answering, one by one.
  2. Follow these Tips for Attempting the MCQs, in the first go.
  3. Don't waste time in overthinking on any single question.
  4. When all the required questions are done or fifteen minutes are left (whichever is earlier), start writing the option in the box given after the four circles. Remaining questions can be done after writing the options in the boxes provided for this purpose.
  5. You may think again about the answer to the question, regarding which you are in doubt. You can cancel your answer, simply by writing the correct option in the box. You don't have to do anything else regarding changing your answer.
  6. Be careful to darken the circle given after the box, under ‘#’, against the question to be shown as ' Not Attempted '.
  7. Don’t attempt any question after the maximum number of questions given in the question paper.
  8. Take proper care of the question serial number while darkening the circle for ‘answer’ or ‘not attempted’.
  9. There should be no overwriting in box used for writing the option of correct answer.

Don’t write anything else on OMR sheet or Question Paper. You will be given a separate rough sheet for your working.

Don’t use pencil on OMR answer sheet.
