Suggestive Marketing Project
Though Marketing Project is there in Class 12, but the content of this article is equally suggestive for Class 11 for different topics as per their syllabus.
Following is my recent personal experience which can serve as basis for 2-3 good projects. Teachers may give some hints to their students depending on their own choice.

For making some gift item, I was searching for different types of double shaded thread and yarn on internet. By chance, on Amazon it was appearing at ₹130 per ball, with free delivery. But I had bought it two years back from another website for ₹75 net (after discount). So, I was not ready to face this 'jump' in price.
I kept on searching for the original manufacturer so that I can avail quantum discount on 9-10 balls. After 2-3 days I was able to find a website appearing to be the one I was searching for. The price quoted was ₹105 per ball but after discount it was ₹92 per ball.
Since, I hesitate paying delivery charges, I bought 9 balls paying ₹828 to avail free delivery from this website operating from the State of Maharashtra. I was so happy on getting this.

Just after three days, I visited a popular place in our city known for yarn. By chance, I saw these balls. I just asked the price and
confirmed the brand. It was same. The price was ₹80 per ball. I purchased two balls immediately.
On reaching home I thought of comparing the balls purchased from these two sources carefully and removed the wrappers for more information. Wasting no time, I used Google Lens to check everything in detail.
This whole exercise revealed a lot.
Now, the students should:
- Identify and explain all the concepts which have been referred here, directly or indirectly.
- Analyse the labels carefully and write your findings clearly.
- How was the local seller able to give me this ball of thread for ₹80 each? Explain in detail.
