Fun Filled Holidays HomeworkAs the students have their summer vacations ahead, they must be given some holidays homework.

It is a generalized statement that Holidays Homework should be fun-filled though there is a large number of students who just need to revise the syllabus already covered so that their base is strong and they can keep pace with the syllabus after the vacations are over.

Home work should be such, that add to their knowledge even if not much syllabus has been covered in class.

The temperature is also increasing day by day, making the outdoor activities difficult and unsafe, the work should be done without taking such risks.

I would also suggest only ‘economical’ homework, where students don’t have to spend a lot.

Though the work can be given asking students to prepare PowerPoint presentations, the students should preferably be asked to prepare a file with hand written material or prepare a scrap file with captions or a mix of both.

Online time’ must be kept minimum. A long spell of online classes has already done a lot to keep the students away from paper-pen resulting in deterioration of their writing skills.

This work can be given in groups or to individual students, with or without limited choice, in such a way that maximum number of activities are done by the class, which can be shown and discussed on opening of school after vacations, to add to their knowledge.
